I decided to publish this older song because of the recent crisis of the COVID 19 pandemic. This prayer of trust and protection is dedicated to the front line persons and professionals such as first responders, nurses, doctors, health aids, janitorial staff etc., who all work in health facilities such as hospitals. These fellow human beings, all over the world, are placing themselves at risk to serve us, to protect us, to help to heal and comfort those who are suffering. And those who have died, I hold them in this prayer. The quality of wholeness that is "al-Muhaimin may be experienced as a "trustworthy guardian." Other earthly forms of this word are "nurse" and "caregiver." An exact physical plane meaning is to put oneself in front of other people to protect them, as the guards in a caravan would do."
